Psychometric Testing – The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

huge.103.518713“I did not sleep for three nights.”… “After that appalling experience, I was stuck in bed for three days”… “Best investment in me I ever made”… “They are OK if you are used to doing multiple choice questions – not all cultures are”…  This is a selection of the comments that we collected, while interviewing senior executives on their personal experience of participating in psychometric testing.  There was a great deal of emotion involved in what the interviewees related to us, and it is clear that, even if psychometric testing has become commonplace, for both internal and external opportunities, it is far from being unanimously popular, regardless of who you are or where you come from!
